LAGUNA WOODS MEN’S GOLF CLUB PRESIDENT’S CUP TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE $10 The PRESIDENT’S CUP TOURNAMENT is a two stage tournament. The first stage is a qualifying round. The top 16 players in each Flight will continue into the second stage starting on the second week. There will be FOUR (4) flights for this tournament. The second stage is match play in a single elimination tournament. The Pairing for the elimination tournament will be posted on the Major Tournament Bulletin Board. ROUND PURPOSE DATE DAY TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE: The players that did not make the sweet 16 will play in a separate tournament and prizes will be awarded for each flight. Check in at the tournament desk for you score cards 30 minutes before your scheduled starting time. All score cards must be dated, signed and attested. Detailed “Rules of Play” will be posted prior to the Tournament. ELIGIBILITY and SIGN-UP: You must be a member of the men’s 18 hole golf club and have a current SCGA handicap and pay the entry fee. Sign up at the May Men’s Club Meeting. Players must sign up individually, the Tournament Chairman will form play groupings. STANDBY AND CANCELLATION LISTS Cancellation and standby lists will be available at the Major Tournament Bulletin Board. Final cut-off for sign-ups will be Monday at 5:00 P.M, June 7, 2009.
